How to Summarize Text on Any Website with Helperbird
Learn how to use Helperbird to summarize long articles, web pages, and text into short, easy-to-read summaries. A complete guide to the Summarize feature.
What is Summarize?
The Summarize feature takes long blocks of text and turns them into short, easy-to-read summaries. Instead of reading an entire article or page, you can get the key points in just a few sentences.
Who is This For?
This feature is helpful for:
- Students who need to quickly understand long articles or textbook passages
- Researchers who want to scan content faster
- Anyone who finds long text overwhelming or difficult to process
- People with ADHD or reading difficulties who benefit from shorter text
- Anyone who wants to save time while browsing
Step 1: Open Helperbird
Click the Helperbird icon in your browser toolbar. It looks like a small owl and is usually in the top-right corner of your browser.
This will open the Helperbird menu.
Step 2: Select Text on a Webpage
Go to any webpage and use your mouse to highlight the text you want to summarize. Click and drag to select a paragraph, section, or the full article.
Step 3: Summarize the Text
With your text selected, use the Highlight Menu or the Helperbird menu to choose Summarize. Helperbird will process the selected text and generate a shorter version.
Step 4: Read the Summary
A panel will appear showing your summarized text. The summary captures the key points from the original content in a shorter, more digestible format.
You can copy the summary to your clipboard or close the panel when you are done.
