How to Resync Your Helperbird Subscription
Is Helperbird showing as Free even though you have an active subscription? Learn how to use the Check Subscription button to resync your subscription in seconds.
Sometimes Helperbird can get out of sync and show your subscription as "Free" even though you have an active Pro or Unlimited subscription. This usually happens after a browser update, extension update, or if you have been signed out. The good news is it only takes a few seconds to fix.
What Does Resync Mean?
When you resync your subscription, Helperbird checks the server to confirm your subscription is still active and updates your extension to match. Think of it as a quick refresh.
How to Resync Your Subscription
- Open Helperbird by clicking the Helperbird icon in your browser toolbar.
- Click the Settings icon (the gear icon in the top left corner).
- In the Options menu, click Check subscription.
- Wait a moment while Helperbird checks your subscription with the server.
- Your subscription status should now update and show as active.
That's it! Your Pro or Unlimited features should be back.
Still Not Working?
If your subscription is still showing as Free after resyncing, here are a few more things to try.
Log out and log back in Sometimes logging out of Helperbird and logging back in with your email or subscription key can fix the issue. Here is our guide on how to log in to Helperbird.
Check your network Your school or organization's firewall might be blocking Helperbird from reaching the server. Visit https://engine.helperbird.app/firewall/ to check. If it shows you are blocked, ask your IT admin to allowlist engine.helperbird.app.
Reset Helperbird As a last resort, you can reset Helperbird to clear any stuck data. Go to Settings then scroll down to Data & Storage and click Reset. After the reset, enter your subscription key or log in again.
