How to Use the Helperbird Dictionary

Helperbird's Dictionary gives you instant access to word definitions without leaving your current page. Look up any word quickly and get clear, easy-to-understand definitions with examples.


Accessing the Helperbird Dictionary

Step 1: Open Helperbird

Click the Helperbird icon in the top right corner of your browser to open the extension.


Step 2: Find the Dictionary Button

In the Quick Actions area at the top of Helperbird, locate the Dictionary button. It's the pink circular icon with a book symbol.


Step 3: Open the Dictionary

Click the Dictionary button. The dictionary app will open in a new tab, ready for you to search for any word.

Tip: You can bookmark the dictionary page to access it even faster, or keep the tab open while you work.


Using the Dictionary

Step 1: Type Your Word

In the search box at the top of the dictionary page, type the word you want to look up. As you type, you'll see the word appear in the search field.


Step 2: Search for the Definition

Click the Search button (or press Enter on your keyboard) to look up your word.


Step 3: Read the Definition

The dictionary will display comprehensive information about your word, including the word and part of speech, multiple meanings for words with different uses, clear definitions written in simple language, example sentences showing the word used in context, and related meanings if the word has multiple definitions.

All definitions are organized clearly with headings like "Meaning" and "Example" to make it easy to understand.

Tip: The dictionary supports multiple languages, so you can look up words in your preferred language. Perfect for language learners or multilingual users!
