How to add Color blindness support to websites
How to use Emphasize Links feature
Step 1: Open Helperbird, this is done by clicking the Helperbird icon in the top right corner of your browser window.
Step 2: The extension will open. Showing the quick actions and other features.
Step 3: Scroll to the Color Blindness card.
Step 4: Within the Color Blindness card, you will see the Emphasize Links option.
Step 5 Toggle the Emphasize Links option to On.
Step 6 Every website you visit will have four colors under each link.
Step 7 (Optional) To disable Emphasize Links, repeat steps 1-6.
How to use Text Stroke feature
Step 1: Open Helperbird, this is done by clicking the Helperbird icon in the top right corner of your browser window.
Step 2: The extension will open. Showing the quick actions and other features.
Step 3: Scroll to the Color Blindness card.
Step 4: Within the Color Blindness card, you will see the Text Stroke option.
Step 5 Toggle the Text Stroke option to On.
Step 6 All text on a website will have the border/stroke around it with the color you picke.
Step 7 (Optional) To disable Text Strok, repeat steps 1-6.
What our Helperbirds colorblind features?
At the moment, Helperbird has two colorblind features:
Emphasize links Helperbird will highlight links in the text that are pointing to websites that are not accessible for colorblind people.
Text stroke Helperbird will draw a stroke around the text that is not readable for colorblind people.
