Administrative guide for deploying Helperbird in your organization. Manage licenses, deployments, and team accessibility.

·

This guide walks G Suite administrators through deploying Helperbird to all Chrome users in your organization. Once deployed, Helperbird will automatically install for everyone in your selected organizational unit.

Before you start: You'll need administrator access to the Google Admin Console and Helperbird's extension ID: ahmapmilbkfamljbpgphfndeemhnajme

Deploying Helperbird

Step 1: Access Chrome Management

Log into your Google Admin Console at admin.google.com. Navigate to Devices > Chrome > Apps & Extensions.

Step 2: Add the Helperbird Extension

Select the Organizational Unit where you want to deploy Helperbird. Click the + icon, select Add from Chrome Web Store, and enter Helperbird's extension ID: ahmapmilbkfamljbpgphfndeemhnajme

Step 3: Configure and Deploy

Set the installation policy to Force Install (this prevents users from uninstalling it). Click Save to deploy the extension to all users in your selected organizational unit.

Tip: Test with a small group first by creating a test organizational unit before rolling out to your entire organization.

Verifying the Installation

Step 1: Log in as a User

Log into Chrome with a user account from your selected Organizational Unit.

Step 2: Check for Helperbird

Helperbird should automatically appear in the extensions toolbar in the top-right corner of Chrome.

Step 3: Test Functionality

This is a great little extension, lightweight and non intrusive. With dyslexia its reading that's an issue, not the underlying intelligence. An aid such as this one, can help deliver the world to some who may not otherwise have received it. Great Work.

My son has dyslexia and has been struggling with parts of distant learning over the last year. We recently discovered this software and he is loving everything about it, especially with the ease of following directions and completing his assignments! We have used several other tools but this has everything a dyslexia person needs all in one bundle! The upgrade is definitely worth it to make our daily struggles, on the computer, run much smoother. I also greatly appreciate customer support (helpdesk). They went above and beyond to make sure we were all set up on the computer for my son to most successful.

I have been trying to find ways to make my child happy to go to school again, and someone recommended helperbird. She loves helperbird, and she is now much happier about the idea of returning to school. I think this might be a game changer, as they do so much web based schoolwork and research. She says they really understand people with dyslexia

Helperbird is an excellent extension supporting a range of learning differences. Aside from providing many evidence-based dyslexia-assistive tools, the extension also functions as an easy-to-use, feature-rich web experience customization tool suitable to support a wide range of cognitive differences (i.e., color blindness and ADHD-related focus concerns, among others). Also, the developer is a very good person who supports the various learning-different communities in many ways, including by designing the free version of Helperbird to provide enough functionality to be beneficial to people who cannot afford to subscribe to the full-function version.
