How to Cancel Your Helperbird Pro Subscription

Cancel your Helperbird Pro subscription in the billing portal, and find out what happens to your Pro access, your plan and your saved settings afterwards.

Here is how to end your Pro subscription, and what happens after you do.

Before You Cancel

If something is not working, talk to us first. We would rather fix it.

Bought Helperbird in the last 30 days? A refund may suit you better than a cancellation. See how to request a refund.

Keeping Pro but paying with a different card? Do not cancel. See how to update your credit card instead.

If your school or workplace pays for Helperbird, the Manage row in your settings reads Managed by your organization. There is nothing for you to cancel. Your admin owns the billing.

Cancel Your Plan

  1. Open your billing portal. See managing your Helperbird billing for both ways in.
  2. Click Cancel plan.
  3. Confirm.

That is the whole cancellation. Nothing to uninstall, nobody to email.

What Happens After You Cancel

Your subscription runs to the end of the period you have already paid for. Nothing stops working on the day you cancel, and you are not charged again.

Until that date the Billing section still shows Plan: Pro and Status: Subscription active. That is correct. Your subscription has not ended yet.

After that date your plan goes back to Free, and the free features keep working. Helperbird rechecks about every eight hours, so press Check in the Billing section if you want it to catch up sooner.

Your account and your settings are not deleted. Your fonts, colors, profiles and saved options are all where you left them if you subscribe again later.
