How to Download the Helperbird App on iPhone
Install the Helperbird app on your iPhone from the App Store, see what the app itself does and does not do, then turn the Safari extension on in Settings.

Helperbird on iPhone comes from the App Store as an app that carries a Safari extension.
This page covers getting the app onto your iPhone. Turning the extension on happens afterwards, in the Settings app.
Install from the App Store
Open Helperbird for Safari in the App Store (opens in a new tab) and tap Get. To find it by hand, open the App Store, tap Search, and type Helperbird. The icon is a purple square with a cream owl.
Confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, or your Apple Account password. The app installs to your home screen.
Your iPhone needs iOS 15.0 or later.

What the App Does
The app is a welcome screen. It lists the three steps for turning the extension on, has a Watch the video button, and links back to our help pages.
It cannot open Settings for you, and it cannot tell you whether the extension is already on.

Turn It On in Safari
Nothing appears in Safari until you switch the extension on in the Settings app. Follow how to enable Helperbird in Safari.
