Introduction
This guide walks through the steps for installing the Helperbird Extension/iOS App using Family Sharing. It includes turning off Screen Time restrictions for installation and re-enabling them afterward.
Steps
Step 1:
Turn Off Screen Time Content & Privacy Restrictions for the Child
Step 1.1: Open the Settings app on your iOS device.
Step 1.2: Scroll down and tap on Screen Time.
Step 1.3: Enter your Screen Time Passcode if it's set.
Step 1.4: Tap on Content & Privacy Restrictions.
Step 1.5: Turn off the switch if it's currently enabled.
Step 2: Install the Helperbird Extension/iOS App
Step 2.1: Open the App Store on your iOS device.
Step 2.2: Tap on the search bar at the bottom.
Step 2.3: Type "Helperbird" and tap the search button.
Step 2.4: Tap on the Helperbird app in the results.
Step 2.5: Tap "Get" to start installation. Enter your Apple ID password or use Touch ID/Face ID if prompted.

Step 3: Enable the Helperbird Extension
Step 3.1: After installation, go to your device's settings.
Step 3.2: Scroll to find Helperbird, then tap on it.
Step 3.3: Ensure all options under "Allow Helperbird to Access" are toggled on.
Step 4: Turn On Screen Time Content & Privacy Restrictions (Important)
Step 4.1: Open Settings on your iOS device.
Step 4.2: Scroll down and select Screen Time.
Step 4.3: Enter your Screen Time Passcode if set.
Step 4.4: Tap on Content & Privacy Restrictions.
Step 4.5: Enable the switch for Content & Privacy Restrictions.
